Spiderman #3 Original Proof Page Todd Mcfarlane Art Mary Jane Watson-parker
And check out OUR NEWLY LISTED ITEMS. This is an original printed proof page from Spider-Man #3, published by Marvel Comics in October of 1990. 9 from the issue, and is just a great page that includes images of the beautiful Mary Jane Watson-Parker as only Todd McFarlane can depict her (and I think that's also Spidey villain The Lizard slashing in the first panel). The page is on special smooth coated high-quality photostat stock, and measures approximately 12" by 18".
MacFarlane first became well-known drawing Incredible Hulk, Amazing Spider-man, and Spiderman, before leaving Marvel Comics to co-found Image Comics, where he created the Spawn franchise. But among all the art he did throughout the years, there is little question that his Spiderman work is probably the most highly-regarded by fans. With McFarlane's original pages going for thousands of dollars, here is a much more affordable way to get a production piece from the series (Again, please note this is a printed proof page, it is not the hand-drawn original artwork). This is a great page that would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed, and would be a great piece in any collection. Check out our other auctions for more great items.
