1978 Gene Colan Lilith Marvel Preview #16 Original Comic Art Page Dracula Horror
And check out OUR NEWLY LISTED ITEMS. This is an original art page for Marvel Preview #16, published by Marvel Comics in 1978.
This is a page from the classic story featuring Lilith, Queen of the Undead. And being a story featuring the daughter of the greatest vampire of all, Dracula, what artist could draw it other than the greatest Dracula artist ever, Gene Colan!
Gene "The Dean" Colan is a true legend with one of the most distinctive styles in comics, and is well-known for his classic work in the 1960's, 1970's, and 1980's, notably on Tomb of Dracula, Daredevil, Captain America, Avengers, Howard The Duck, Wonder Woman, Iron Man, Hulk, Sub-Mariner, Batman in Detective Comics, and many other titles. Pages from this issue rarely surface for sale, and this is a stunning, fantastic example, featuring large splashy panels and great images of Lillith! It's becoming harder and harder to find great vintage 1970s Marvel Horror pieces, so a piece like this is highly desirable and a great vintage example. This is a great piece of Bronze Age Marvel horror artwork from one of the greatest artists of all-time, that would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed, and would be an outstanding addition to any collection.
