It is signed in the margin For Val With All My Thanks! I was his editor on this book and this was his gift to me. The page itself has sentimental value with a strong message about self-empowermentand I think that message only adds to the cultural significance of the piece and really speaks to the humanity of Darwyn as a comic book creator. The art board is sized 14" x 8 1/2", and the art itself is 9" x 7". Please note that this was 1/2 of a full page of the graphic novel. Darwyn drew each page in 2 halves that were later put together digitally. The art is in ink with blue pencil showing. This has been in storage for a LONG time, and has a couple of small marks on it.
