GEORGE PEREZ Signed Captain America Original Art SKETCH Pencil And Marker Inked
This item is a signed Captain America sketch by artist George Perez. I obtained this sketch at an American Diabetes Association fundraiser at a comic book shop in Jacksonville, Florida in the late 90's. Perez was drawing head shot sketches of the character of your choice if you made a donation to the American Diabetes Association. He lightly sketched in the character with a pencil and then inked in the sketch with a black marker. If you look closely at the scan of the sketch you can see the the underlying pencil marks as he did not erase them on any of the sketches he drew that day. He drew the sketch on a comic book backer board that measures seven and one half inches by ten and one half inches in size. The sketch is inscribed to me near the top of the board.
The back side of the board is blank. There are two tiny bumps along the top edge of the board that are viewable in the scan if you look closely.
