Iron Man 133 page 22 Ant Man Bob Layton comic book original art OA page Avengers
Iron Man has defeated the Hulk, but at what price? Here's a great Iron Man page as only Bob Layton did them. This is the fantastic climactic page of the issue wherein Ant Man (Scott Lang) rescues Tony Stark by unfreezing his armor from the inside. It even has a bit of humor mixed in to help break the built-up tension. Iron Man's armor was damaged during his battle with the Hulk in the prior issue.
This page features some really nice-sized head shots of Shell Head and Ant Man, as well as sizeable drawings of Stark's face, and a full-width drawing of Iron Man, with renderings of other major characters James Rhodes and Beth McCabe. This page has a nice, self-contained and make for a sweet standalone display for any Iron Man or Ant Man fan. This one-of-a-kind page of original art was inked by Bob Layton and penciled by Jerry Bingham and was autographed by both artists. Good luck, thanks for looking and please checkout my other auctions!
