Jim Lee Oversized Female Warrior 11 X 17 WildC. A. T. S. Original Art Sketch +bonus
This is a Jim Lee piece, a female character study for a potential Wildstorm-based character. I bought this piece from someone who represented him/her as working for Jim Lee's Wildstorm back in the'90s. The signature at the bottom is Jim Lee's more recent signature.
I have several pieces that have been signed by Jim Lee in my person and this signature seems just as authentic as those. As a result I would swear that this piece would be upheld by any signature verification system. The piece depicts a powerful, warrior female character. It appears to be a Coda warrior from WildC. The board at the top says Image Comics. All things considered, I would put this piece as somewhere in 1992 - 1996. She reminds me of his Deathbird from X-Men or the Stan Lee re-imagining of Wonder Woman.
This is a 11" by 17" art board used by Image studios. Front side depicts Jim Lee's Coda? Warrior from the top edge of the page to nearly the bottom. The backside depicts an image of the same warrior in approximately 6" X 8" size in an action position. Two Jim Lee images for the price of one! Penciled and inked by Jim Lee only.
Which is rare (Scott Williams is Jim's primary inking partner). This is a fantastic piece. This is a sexy, full-figured female character, oversized for typical Jim Lee work at 11" by 17". Feel free to message me with any questions. The item "Jim Lee Oversized Female Warrior 11 X 17 WildC.
