A beautiful John Romita, Sr. Spider-Man stencil cut-out that was designed and hand made by legendary comic book artist John Romita, Sr. John has signed the stencil in marker! This stencil was used by John to put down the basic pencil lines for a Spider-Man head sketch remark in a book, most notably used in the John Romita, Sr. Amazing Spider-Man IDW Artist Editions.
Once the basic layout was done, John would then finish the remark in free hand. This was a quick way to do a layout for Spidey's head without John having to draw a new head sketch each time. A stellar piece of comic book history that would make a great addition to your collection! PLEASE NOTE: John's run on Amazing Spider-Man in the 1960's and 1970's is legendary! John created The Rhino, the visual look and costume designs for The Punisher, Wolverine and Mary Jane Watson! His original art is getting harder to find and very expensive when you do find a piece of his art.
