Little Orphan Annie was created by Harold Gray in 1924, who continued to write and draw the strip until mid-1968. This daily features a crowd of men seeking a copy of a magazine which features an article about their town. Excellent variety to the faces in the crowd. Nicely designed and rendered strip by one of the all-time great comic strip artists.
The art is in good to very good overall condition. There are eighteen (18) pin/tack holes to the art board. Twelve (12) of them are to the image area and six (6) are to the margins and gutters. These are visible from the front, but are not too distracting. Please check my other listings for a selection of books, graphic novels, original comic art, CDs, DVDs, knives, and other collectibles.
