Mark Bagley Signed Original Art Captain America Tribute #1 / Stan Lee Jack Kirby
This set of three original art pages features the work of Mark Bagley and recreates the scene by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby from Avengers #4 (the issue where Captain America is freed from the ice and joins the team). Also, all three are signed by Bagley. The first image digitally marries the three tiers together to form a single page and also includes the cover to the issue as well as the final, colorized page. The second, third, and fourth images are the the three pieces of art themselves (Bagley presumable drew the art on three separate pages so they could be drawn larger and thus more detailed).
The fifth image features the cover to the issue, the sixth features the final colorized page as it appears in the comic, and the seventh image features the original page as illustrated by Jack Kirby as it appeared in the original Avengers #4 in 1964. Please note- this set is the actual, original artwork by Bagley. They are not copies, prints or pre-printed images. Please note - the cover to the issue this page appears in, the final, colorized page as it appears inside the comic, and the page from the original issue Avengers #4 are shown for reference only. The comic books themselves are not included in with the listing. The listing is for the three pieces of original artwork only (which are shown in their entirety in scans two, three, and four). Excepting pack-pulled autograph trading cards, CGC Signature Series, signed Sideshow prints, and like collectibles, all autographed items Vault Collectibles sells were personally witnessed, by myself, being signed by the writer, artist, or celebrity in question. No third party is involved.
Further, art sketches - and most published original art I sell - were obtained directly from the artist themselves. For buyers desiring this guarantee in written form, this statement guarantees that the above referenced item is as stated in the listing description. As this serves as written proof of said guarantee, no physical documentation will be included in the package when the item is mailed.
