Offered for sale is the original art from the comic book story NEXUS: BAD MOON RISING drawn by Steve The Dude Rude. And originally published in DARK HORSE PRESENTS #13. This comic book panel page was published as page 66 of the DARK HORSE PRESENTS #13 comic book, published in June, 2012 by Dark Horse Comics. This page is #12 of the story. The Dark Horse art paper measures approximately 17.5 tall by 11.375 wide. Rude in blue pencil below the art. This is the original art (rendered in pen and ink over pencil/graphite) for this comic book page, drawn by Steve Rude (pencils and inks), with dialogue written by Mike Baron. The "Bad Moon Rising" Nexus story was presented in DHP issues #12 and #13 (May-June, 2012) and later reprinted in the " Nexus: Into the Past and Other Stories " trade paperback collection. This striking page features several excellent images of Nexus and his demonic adversary the devil? , the epitome of evil, which seeks to destroy the peoples of Ylum. The final panel features the "hive" of the Elvons, which houses a singularity threatening with which they are threatening Ylum. Security forces are about to launch an assault on the Elvons. Detailed panels by "The Dude". The top full width panel is awesome in its'David vs. Goliath' depiction of Nexus facing off against the evil one. Beautiful page design and execution from a peak period of the book, drawn by a legendary graphic artist. Comic Book and Artist Information. Is an American superhero/science fiction comic book written by Mike Baron and drawn by Steve Rude, which began in 1981. The series has won six Eisner Awards. Nexus is currently being self-published by Baron and Rude in a comic strip format available on line and by hard copy (you should check it out if you havent read it). 1956 is an American comic book artist best known as co-creator of NEXUS and THE MOTH (an action-adventure/mystery comic). He has written or drawn for all of the major comic book publishers. Characters he has worked on include Batman, Superman, Hulk, Teen Titans, X-Men, Spider-Man, Thor, Captain America, Mister Miracle, Wonder Woman, Jonny Quest, Space Ghost and many others. He has won the "Best Artist" Russ Manning Award, the Kirby Award, the Eisner Award and the Harvey Award. A truly gifted creator and a titan of the graphic arts (as well as being once of the nicest guys you will ever meet). The art is in excellent condition on art paper.
