Original Splash Comic Art New Mutants #7 Marvel Hellions X-Men Signed Framed
THE HELLIONS of New Mutants by Diogenes Neves & Ed Tadeo (Inker & Penciller) both very consistent & highly regarded Comic Artists for Marvel Comics. The overall frame is about 27" inches tall by 31.75" inches wide!! This is an original penciled & inked page from New Mutants #7 Vol. 3 (published January, 2010) and numbered as pages 7 & 8 but published as 8 & 9 in final edit/release! (The Hellions shown Left to Right - Jetstream, Beef, Roulette, Tarot, & Bevatron). A very majestic Double Page Splash with MAJOR presence. This page is from the "Necrosha" story arc of X-Men/New Mutants. The artwork was produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board. Artist: Ed Tadeo (Penciller) did a beautiful nude female sketch portrait on the back of these boards but this is professionally framed/sealed so it is hidden.
But it's back there! ARTWORK IS SIGNED by finishing Inker Diogenes Neves at THE TOP of both pages. The entire artwork is in a one-of-kind museum grade framing w/ custom double mat.
The frame is Sleek mat black beveled cut-solid wood (a little over 2.5" inches wide) with the artwork affixed on over a 2.5" inch wide textured black archival outer mat + a thinner pink archival inner mat (to match the Hellions costume motif). The entire piece is completely sealed and encased (closed back) with museum grade high quality UV protective/non-glare glass, the highest quality possible for preserving/showing artwork on the commercial/private market.This again has been professional framed and the company info is on the sealed back who framed it. This is very hard to let go of given I'm a big Mutants fan personally, but if you are interested, and a fan yourself (or gifting to a fan), this is your opportunity to do so with ORIGINAL ART from X-men/New Mutants.
