Thor #180 Prelim Cover 1970 Neal Adams Signed Original Marvel Comic Art

  

Here is Neal Adams original unreleased prelim vision for the cover art of Thor #180 that measures 11 1/2" x 16 1/2" and is hand signed by Neal Adams at the bottom. Please take note of the tag line "When Gods Go Mad" for reference to the cover of Thor #180. This tag line was used on the final version of the cover, everything else was changed. Neal Adams was involved with the cover art for Thor #180 and you can clearly see the 1970 era Marvel Comic template layout design being adhered to on the top left side and top right side of the Thor logo. The cover credits are somewhat disputed for this issue.

Joe Sinnott claims it as his work. Marie Severin's work is evident in the backgrounds. Neal Adams also claims the work. John Buscema may have worked on the image of Thor. Very historic piece showing an original idea that was never released.
